School Starts

Most families have their children starting school for this new school year. Shoes are shined, backpacks are ready, pencils are sharpened. Ok, now there few shoes that get shined or pencils that get sharpened. But school starting is an exciting time for your children. Make it special and peaceful. If you are going through a divorce or have been divorced,  do not fight in front of your child. If it’s the first day of school, figure out how to share time so there is no stress for your son or daughter. You want their school days to be fun and happy and calm. I hear and know of horror stories of how parents have their special temper tantrums at school, in front of their kids and their kids’ friends and teachers. Do not be that parent. Be nice. Be calm. Be loving. Your kids might never outright thank you for that but they will appreciate the fun memories.
