2016 Sojourner’s Center Circle of Hope Holiday Program

Sojourner Center is one of the largest and longest-running domestic violence organizations in the country. Each year, Sojourner Center provides safety and support to nearly 10,000 women, children, men and pets. The organization offers emergency shelter, transitional housing, domestic violence education, safety planning, lay-legal advocacy, case management, a child development center, a 24-hour crisis hotline, referral services, community education and healthcare at an on-site clinic.

The Best Law Firm supported the 2016 Sojourner’s Center Circle of Hope Holiday Program by matching employee contributions. Randi Burggraff did the shopping and took the gifts to the Sojourner’s Center. With the help of generous donors from the community, each December they fill their Holiday Store with new gift items. Women and teens at Sojourner Center have the opportunity to earn “holiday bucks” during the weeks leading up to the Holiday Store. Once open, women and teens use their “holiday bucks” to buy holiday gifts for their families. Children also get to take part in the fun as each child selects one gift for their mom in our special Kids’ Store.
