I guess that sounds like a dumb question. But think about it. You might argue that there is no way you can know what you don’t know. If you don’t know you don’t know it, how can you know it? Well, this exercise could go on for awhile but the point is, I think, you know when you go to the dentist that you don’t have a clue how to do what a dentist does (unless you are a dentist). So, in a way, you know what you don’t know. You know you don’t know anything. You know it’d be dangerous to start drilling on your own teeth or give yourself a few X-rays. So, you do know what you don’t know so remember how dangerous you’d be as your own dentist, or as your own lawyer in your own divorce.
